According to B&D Lilies where I purchased my bulbs, “provecho” is the Spanish version of the French, Bon Appetit (or “enjoy”). I’m enjoying my ‘Provecho’ Orienpet lilies a bunch this summer.
I planted them last fall, but they wasted no time getting used to my flowerbed and have put on a fantastic display this summer. The stalks are a little over 4 feet tall.
‘Provecho’ has medium-pink, 9-inch flowers with a streak of darker pink down the middle. Like other Orienpets lilies, this one puts on a show for several weeks in July.
‘Provecho’ is hardy in Zones 5-9.
