Amaryllis ‘Rosy Star’ is the second cultivar to bloom for me this season. The flowers are pure white with petals brushed with fuchsia-pink—some a little more than others!
This cultivar grows 18 inches tall with 6-inch flowers. My bulb sent up two scapes. The first has 6 blooms on it, and the second should bloom within the next two weeks.
The soft colors are a nice break from the feisty scarlet blooms of ‘Rapido’ which is still blooming like crazy.
