Amaryllis ‘Candy Floss’ has lovely medium-pink flowers with dark red veins. It’s so nice to have a break from all the red and white amaryllis cultivars, and this pink blends nicely with them and adds some pizzazz.
‘Candy Floss’ grows 18 to 24 inches tall with 7-inch flowers. My bulb sent up 2 scapes at the same time and 8 flowers are currently competing for blooming space at once. A third scape is just emerging, so I will have more blooms in a week or two.
The stalks don’t lean (except to make room for the flowers to bloom at the same time). I would definitely grow this one again.
