‘Rapido’

I couldn’t resist getting some ‘Rapido’ Amaryllis bulbs again this year because they bloomed for so many weeks for me last winter.

Just like last year, their scapes were the first to peek out from the bulbs as soon as they were potted up.

And last week they went from this:

To this in just five days (and you’ll notice we also went from green to white outside during that time!):

The other bulbs are taking their sweet time. That’s okay because it will extend the windowsill blooming season!
