Amaryllis ‘Sunshine Nymph’ is a lovely Double Dutch Amaryllis that grows 18 inches tall. The huge, fluffy flowers are coral red with a white starburst.
My bulb’s first scape topped off at 14 inches and produced just 4 flowers. But that’s a good thing because those flowers are so large that there wouldn’t be room for any more! The second scape has already grown taller than the first and should bloom any day now.
I just wish ‘Sunshine Nymph’ had magical powers to MAKE sunshine. I took these photos before Christmas which was the last time we’ve seen a sunny day around here. That’s almost 3 weeks ago now, not that anyone is counting…
