Amaryllis ‘Stardust’ has flowers that are described as white and heavily shaded and dusted with red. If you say so! To me this is more of a red flower dusted with white on the petals. There’s also a contrasting dark red edge on those petals.
The flowers are very pretty, but my problem with this cultivar—at least for the bulb I grew—is that the flowers didn’t appear to open all the way.
This Dutch amaryllis grows 18 to 22 inches tall. My bulb sent up one scape so far that topped off at 17 inches and had 4 flowers. It looks like another scape is just starting to peek out of the bulb so this cultivar will have one more chance to wow me.
