Amaryllis ‘Double King’ is a giant. Those double flowers are more than 9 inches wide!
This cultivar tends to produce two deep-red flowers per scape, but that’s okay because more probably wouldn’t fit!
‘Double King’ is a Double Dutch Amaryllis that grows 18 to 24 inches tall. The first scape on my bulb grew 23 inches tall with two flowers that have lasted about 10 days.
The second scape is just peeking out of the bulb, so I should have blooms that last into February!
