My last amaryllis to bloom for the winter season is ‘Silver Dream’. It sent up 3 scapes between January and this week—each had four giant flowers.
This last stalk has me a bit worried that it could topple. It’s 30 inches tall and starting to lean.
Amaryllis scream winter to me so I wouldn’t be sad if I lost the flowers a little early, but it better not crush any of the blooming hyacinths on the way down!
