Join me as I take a trip through the alphabet from A to Z and showcase some of my favorite plants that I’ve grown in my flowerbeds over the last 30 years!
Allium ‘Purple Sensation’ grows 24 to 30 inches tall, and the 4- to 5-inch-wide purple globes appear in May and June. Because they bloom before the regular annual and perennial flower season really gets going, those blooms become a magnet for pollinators. The bulbs are disliked by rodents, so these late spring plants will continue to bloom year after year.
