Some Signs of Fall

Over the weekend the weather really felt fall-like. It’s starting to look like fall too.

The goldenrod is in full bloom in the fields and prairies:

Asters too!

The sumac is fruiting:

This sunning Viceroy butterfly was a little tattered:

And some farmers are already starting to harvest some of their fields:

It’s back to summer weather this week, but it won’t be long before real fall arrives with frosty nights and falling leaves
