‘So Lovely’ is another daylily that’s not exactly my cup of tea, but I’ve grown fond of it over the years. It was one of the first daylilies I ever purchased and gets rave reviews for its long period of bloom and fragrant flowers. Pretty good for a 41-year-old cultivar.
The flowers are considered “near white”, but as you can see they are more yellow than white. I’ve moved my plant around quite a bit over the years, but it finally has a home in front of my arborvitae hedge where the creamy blossoms stand out against the dark green backdrop.
‘So Lovely’ grows 30 inches tall with 6-inch, fragrant flowers.
