Daylily ‘Wild One’

Staring at the flowers of Daylily ‘Wild One’ is like gazing into the sun. The monstrous, 7-inch flowers are golden-yellow with orange tinges:

‘Wild One’ is a very tall daylily at 34 inches. I planted mine in the middle of a round perennial border. The bright flowers tower over all of my other blooming perennials and Oriental lilies.

‘Wild One’ is a dormant daylily. It’s an older cultivar (1978) and blooms mid-season.
