A daylily that does very well in my partial-shade garden is ‘Chosen Love’. It’s registered as a lavender daylily, but I would describe the color as more of a powder pink.
Because ‘Chosen Love” is an older cultivar, you can buy it for less than $10 (the Flower Factory sells it for $7).
‘Chosen Love’ grows 26 inches tall with 6-inch, fragrant blooms. It begins blooming in early July and looks fantastic with my pink, white and red astilbes.
