It’s so weird to have tulips blooming this late in the spring. One of my Darwin tulips really looked great this year. Of course it was planted in the front yard away from the gnawing critters. This is ‘Marit’:
The cherry and yellow colors blend together to make gorgeous shades of coral and orange and salmon. ‘Marit’ has huge, weather-resistant flowers that grow on sturdy stems.
Darwin tulips grow 12 to 24 inches tall. In my garden ‘Marit’ reached the full 24 inches.
