‘Profusion Double Hot Cherry’ zinnia is an AAS-winning annual that grows 12-14 inches tall on bushy plants that are loaded with flowers from early summer until frost.

The plants are easy to sprout from seed and require little care once established. The disease-resistant and drought-tolerant beauties look fantastic growing next to purple annuals or perennials:

‘Coming Your Way’ is a dormant daylily that grows 22 inches tall with 5-inch pink flowers that have a tangerine center. The rosy-pink flowers would be a great addition to a cottage garden.

‘Coming Your Way’ blooms in the middle of the daylily season.

Mum ‘Grandchild’ begins blooming in late summer and early fall when most perennials are winding down for the season. The pinkish-lavender pincushion flowers appear on stems 24 to 30 inches tall.

‘Grandchild’ prefers well-drained soil in a sunny spot. The plants will also thrive in part-shade but you may have to stake them.
