We enjoyed another 70-degree day this week, but now it’s back to below-normal temperatures for awhile. Despite the setback, there are plenty of signs that spring is here to stay.
I thought my snowdrops would be damaged after being buried in 7 inches of snow, but they are tough little plants:
A Chipping Sparrow arrived this week and is spending a lot of time at the bird feeders. I usually don’t get to count them as part of my Project Feederwatch count (the count ends each year around the first week of April), so this bird is a little early.
And the chionodoxa (Glory-of-the-Snow) bulbs that I planted last fall have finally popped out of the ground. Look at the gorgeous color of this little flower waiting to unfurl:
