The big flocks of birds that were hanging around our neighborhood were smart to finally move on because it’s been chilly here over the last few days. Now only the tough regulars are visiting the feeders like this cardinal:
Temps dropped into the teens and single digits (F) in some places last night which is unusual for November.
We still haven’t had any snow yet (just graupel) but that could change tonight or tomorrow. Thankfully it will just be snow showers—nothing that should stick to the ground.
I’m still not quite ready for winter.
