The high temperature was almost 30 degrees above normal yesterday, and it felt more like April than December outside. Dog walkers, joggers and even families cooped up in the house for too many days over the holidays all ventured out to feel the sunshine and breathe the unusually-mild air.
The lakes in our city have a little bit of frozen ice floating on them near the shoreline, but otherwise it’s all open water.
