Hosta ‘Loyalist’ is considered a “medium hosta cultivar’, and it’s a reverse variegation sport of the very popular Hosta ‘Patriot’.
‘Loyalist’s’ leaves are dark green with a white center, and in mid-summer the plants send up scapes with lavender flowers.
Like my other hostas, ‘Loyalist’ is performing very well this growing season. This hosta grows about a foot tall with a 2-foot spread and lights up shady areas.
