Every year my first daylily to bloom (out of hundreds of cultivars) is usually ‘Stella in Yella’. I purchased this plant from Oakes Daylilies many years ago, and it continues to bloom like crazy every year. Often it even reblooms in late summer.
The cheery, bright-yellow flowers appear on 15-inch scapes. My plant will even bloom in semi-shade.
