Hosta ‘June’ is a very popular hosta with chartreuse leaves that have bluish-green margins.
The plants grow about 16 inches tall with a 2-3 foot spread.
The thick leaves are slug-resistant, and this hosta can also tolerate some sun. Mine gets several hours of sun during the hottest part of the afternoon, and the leaves show no signs of sunburn.
‘June’ is hardy in USDA Zones 3-9 and thrives in clay soil.
