Daylily ‘Garden Symphony’

I don’t remember purchasing this daylily and I don’t remember ever seeing it bloom before in my flowerbed, but it bloomed this summer in August. This is ‘Garden Symphony’:

This daylily has 30-inch scapes with 6-inch yellow flowers that have a pink tinge to them. The official color that was registered for this daylily is “cream and light pink blend with heavy yellow ruffling and deep green throat.”

The flowers do indeed have a nice ruffle to them and the bright flower color stands out from across the yard.

‘Garden Symphony’ is a dormant, tetraploid daylily that was registered in 1993.
