Local weather forecasters say there’s a zero percent of a white Christmas. I DO see some chances for snow showers tonight and again on Christmas Day, but it’s nothing that will stick to the ground.
I have a few plants trying to stay green even though we’ve had lows in the 20s (F). The above-pictured lamium is tucked into a bed of leaves which probably allows it to be a little tougher.
And I’m pretty sure this daylily is an evergreen variety, so it would have green leaves all winter. It’s just that those leaves look a little healthier than usual for this time of year. Usually they appear watery and frostbitten.
I guess we’ll see what January has in store for us in the snow department!
