The last time I wrote about my ‘Ruby Storm’ daylily it was 2015, and I mentioned that I had never seen it bloom before (even though I purchased it in 2013). Now it’s time to admit that it’s been growing in my flowerbed since 2013 but has never been divided—and yet it still cranks out the blooms each summer!
‘Ruby Storm’ is a dormant daylily that grows 26 inches tall with 6-inch flowers that have a very large ruby eye.
The flowers hold their color well in the hot afternoon sun, and this cultivar bloomed for over a month for me this summer.
