I think I accidentally removed a plant tag this spring when I was cleaning up my flowerbeds, because when this daylily bloomed this summer I was stumped about its identity.
The lavender flowers are 6 inches across with a royal purple eye and darker purple petal edges—it’s a very pretty flower. And those flowers hold their color well in the hot afternoon sun.
I now have 3 mystery daylilies growing in my yard. Two ended up being mislabeled at the garden center, and this mystery I created all by myself.
