And after a warm month to begin with, September really turned up the heat at the very end with unusually-high temperatures in the mid-80s. But then October decided that was enough of that nonsense and with only one transition day in between, the daily high temps dove 30 degrees. Everyone in southern Wisconsin was scrambling to dig out sweatshirts and jackets to wear to the football game or when putting up those Halloween decorations.
The 14-day forecast shows all highs in the 50s, so fall weather is finally winning out!
