I looked out the window last week and laughed when I saw a squirrel in our backyard cooling his belly on a large paver.
All it took was one unusually warm March day in the 70s(F) for him to declare it was just too hot to go on. He better toughen up before the real spring and summer weather gets here!
He stayed there for quite awhile, so I got my camera and started snapping photos. Eventually he noticed me and tried to act natural by hopping to the ground feeder nearby and eating a snack.
But when I looked out again 10 minutes later he was flat as a pancake on the paver again.
