A second opossum showed up in our yard this week. Its coat was a much lighter shade of gray:

I don’t mind that they vacuum up the seeds under the bird feeders. And in the summer they eat ticks.
Opossums normally feed at night. These visitors both stopped by in the late afternoon, but it was during bitterly-cold weather.
A possum’s gotta do what a possum’s gotta do to stay alive in the cold!
