Daylily ‘Wide Wide World’ is an older cultivar (1971), but it can hold its own against many of today’s fancy schmancy daylilies. The registered color is “reddish rose with a tangerine throat”, but depending on the available light, the flowers can take on a coral or even orange hue.
‘Wide Wide World’ is a great daylily for the back of the border. It grows 34 inches tall with huge, 7-inch blooms.
My plant gets sun in the early morning and again in the late afternoon and still rewards me with a month of stunning flowers.
