My species tulips bloomed very late this year. Most of them finally quit last week and only because their petals blew off in all the wind we’ve been experiencing.
I really love the blooms of ‘Little Princess’. The warm, red-orange flowers display a black center surrounded by a bright-yellow halo.
‘Little Princess’ grows 4 inches tall and is hardy in zones 4-8.
I’m hoping this heavy bloomer will naturalize and give me an even bigger display in the years to come.
