This is the first year I’ve been able to enjoy the blooms of daylily ‘Eyedidit’. I moved that poor plant around 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years, and it never got time to get established before I made it pack its bags yet again. I’m sure it would love to rename itself ‘Youdidit’ or perhaps ‘Knockitoff!’ in retaliation.
The flowers were worth the wait. They are rosy-pink with a much darker-pink eye and a bright yellow-green throat. They are also deliciously fragrant.
I plan to keep ‘Eyedidit’ in its current home, and I can’t wait to see how many flowers it gives me next summer.
‘Eyedidit’ grows 26 inches tall and blooms in the middle of the daylily season.
