We’ve seen a few snow flurries so far this November, but yesterday winter stepped up the tease just a teensy bit more.
In the late afternoon the sky suddenly got very dark. Soon huge clumps of snowflakes came whirling and spinning from the sky. It looked like the beginning of a really intense snowstorm, but the show only lasted about 10 minutes.
That was just enough time to cover the flowerbeds and grass in a dusting of snow, and rile up all the juncos and sparrows who appeared out of nowhere to dine under the birdfeeders.
