I never realized how much I took blue skies for granted until this year. Like many parts of the United States, we’ve spent numerous days under air quality alerts this summer because of the wildfire smoke billowing in from Canada. I’ve taken thousands of photos this summer, but most of them include a dull gray or white sky.
Last week we had our longest streak of blue skies since early May.
