The Beetles Have Landed

The party had to end sometime. Yesterday I discovered the first Japanese Beetles in my yard. Only time well tell how beastly they will be this year. In the mean time my roses seem to be the biggest attraction.

At least I got to enjoy my first sweet, delicious strawberry before they discovered I’m growing strawberry plants this year. In fact a beetle was buzzing around my head as I bit into my prized strawberry. I told him I wasn’t sharing.
