On Monday one our local meteorologists said there would be about 17 inches of snow on the ground by the end of the week and I laughed (the snow depth was only 2 or 3 inches at the time). I’m too tired from shoveling to laugh anymore.
It snowed almost every night this week and last night was the biggest storm yet—looks like about 5 or 6 inches came down. My husband was excited because he finally got to dust off the snowblower.
I haven’t officially measured it yet, but the snow was sneaking into the tops of my knee-high boots as I trudged to the bird feeders this morning which would put it at just about 18 inches deep.
Give that weatherman a raise!
