I have a little microphone in my office window that lets me hear the outside critters even with the windows closed. Several times a day for the last several weeks I’ve heard Sandhill Cranes and Canada Geese flying over our house in flocks—a wonderful sign of spring!
Now if we could only get the weather to agree that it’s spring. Today it will be in the upper 50s (F)—only the second time this year we’ve been that “warm.” But then we go right back into 30s and 40s for the rest of the week.
If I didn’t have that goofy robin on my birdfeeder all the time reminding me of the correct season, I would think it was November, not March.
