The plants in our Advent church baskets were just too darn cute and healthy to compost, so I brought them home and transplanted them into pots. Now we’ll see if I can keep them alive!
I made a mess of the transplanting. If I had handled my annuals that way they would’ve flagged horribly. These plants didn’t have any sort of reaction all–even when I used chilly transplant mix that I pulled from our garage.
I hope that’s a sign that they are a good match for me and my houseplant brown thumb.
