Whenever my friend and I go birdwatching we usually spot a muskrat or two. They are such funny little animals. When we see them they are usually chowing down noisily on aquatic plants. And they get so involved you can sneak right up to them.
Muskrats and beavers can look the same—especially from a distance, but muskrats are much smaller and beavers have that unmistakable paddle tail.
