I got a head start on the Christmas season by purchasing 2 poinsettia plants about 2 weeks ago. It was a mild day so I figured they’d suffer less shock on the way home from the garden center.
I’m always partial to the darker red plants, and I don’t mind if they have glitter. The greenhouse was also selling them in shades of bright pink, blue and purple.
I almost purchased a cyclamen, but I figure I’ll wait until January or February when I’m desperate to see something new in bloom.
