Daylily ‘Scarlet Orbit’ is only 22 inches tall, but it definitely commands attention. The 6-inch flowers are clear red with a striking chartreuse throat.
‘Scarlet Orbit’ begins blooming during the first week of July in my garden, and the beautiful blooms just keep coming. I have quite a few red daylily cultivars, but ‘Scarlet Orbit’ is one of the longest-blooming.
I like purple and red together so I planted my ‘Scarlet Orbit’ in the front of the border with the beautiful Geranium ‘Rozanne.’
