It always feels weird ordering flower seeds for the next growing season only weeks after the last killing frost, but I’ve learned it’s the best way to avoid running into back-ordered or sold-out items. That’s been especially true over the last couple of years with all the supply chain issues and crop failures.
This year I ordered all my seeds earlier than ever. Two days before Black Friday I was done shopping completely, and by the first week of December all of my seeds had already arrived in the mail!
Because I hadn’t even received any of the glossy seed catalogs by the time I placed my orders, I may throw on a bonus order or two if I see something new and tempting on those colorful pages.
But when it comes to my tried and true favorite flowers to grow, I’m all set for 2023!
