Daylily cultivar ‘Lilting Lavender’ is a whopping 50 years old now! It’s an “unusual form” daylily with fun curly petals. The 8-inch flowers appear on 30-inch scapes and the cool lavender color makes this a great cottage garden plant.

‘Lilting Lavender’ won an American Hemorcallis Society Honorable Mention award in 1976.

Even in the midst of an extreme drought, my plant sent out 66 flower buds this year! ‘Lilting Lavender’ blooms in the middle of the daylily season.
