This summer my new ‘Corked Collusion’ daylily rewarded me with dozens of stunning blooms. I purchased it in 2022 from Solaris Farms. One of its parents is ‘Bang Bang’ which I also bought in 2022. Solaris says in the description, “Like its parent ‘Bang Bang’, it sells on the spot during summer digging.” I mail-ordered my plant and never saw it in person, but I took their word for it. Now I know what all the fuss is about. You can’t miss those warm, bright colors!
This dormant daylily was registered in 2013. It has golden-yellow flowers with red banded eye and petal edges and a golden-yellow throat.
The scapes reach 25 inches high and the flowers are 5.5″ across. ‘Corked Collusion’ blooms in the middle of the daylily season.
I’m looking forward to dividing this one so I can enjoy the fiery blooms in my backyard too.
