Hint Hint?

Should I be alarmed that all my mums started blooming early this year—some as early as mid-July?

This is ‘Grape Glow’:

And here’s ‘Ravalii’:

And should I be worried that my ‘Color Flash’ Astilbe has been in a full autumn blaze of glory since late June? Or that I spotted my first woolly bear caterpillar in early July (I usually see them in September or October)?

If this is some veiled bad-winter threat I’m plugging my ears and squeezing my eyes tightly shut!
