I was picking up sticks the other day so my husband wouldn’t run them over with the lawnmower when I came upon this cool fairy ring in the lawn. I’ve heard about fairy rings, but I’d never seen one before.
It was almost four feet in diameter. With all the oaks and hickories in our neighborhood I’m guessing a pretty large tree probably used to occupy this spot, too.
With all the rain we’ve had this summer there are weird mushrooms popping up all over the lawn.
