Last week at this time we were cleaning up after a couple of inches of snow fell. The critters in our yard were VERY active overnight because there were footprints of varying sizes all over the yard.
I didn’t get a photo of the possum tracks (an easy one to figure out because they drag their tails), but I did see tracks from a rabbit:
And he came from the same area as another unidentified critter (close up they looked like cat tracks):
Looks like this animal put snow chains on his tires:
And this one’s my favorite. A mouse or mole or vole was very precise about traveling in right angles:
