After day upon day of dreary, drippy weather I need something bright and cheery to write about.
One of my favorite daylilies in my partial shade garden is ‘Orange Tremor’. This peachy-orange beauty has 6.5-inch blooms that glow like a beacon. My plant gets dappled shade for most of the day plus a couple hours of very late afternoon sun, but it still rewards me with 4 weeks of blooms each summer.
‘Orange Tremor’ gets 28 inches tall. I have it growing next to a beautiful yellow daylily called ‘Isle of Capri.’ Together the plants display an explosion of citrus color.
