The melted snow exposed a few little vole trails in our lawn. I believe this is the work of an Eastern Meadow Vole(s).
The trail goes from what I assume is their home to the foot of a birdfeeder.
I’ve seen social media and online posts about the damage voles can do to a lawn. But whenever we’ve had these little trails appear in our yard in early spring, they usually disappear in a couple of weeks without any action on our part.
Hopefully that’s the case this time too!
